Our Corporate Finance Department is expanding and we are looking for a responsible and motivated professional to join our team as a Treasury Accountant.
Key responsibilities:
- Daily cash management and debt facilities reporting.
- Processing local and foreign currency payments.
- Liquidity management for the organisation.
- Forecasting of medium- and long-term funding and hedging requirements where applicable.
- Overview reporting of the group's receivables.
- Communication with all subsidiaries to secure regular and timely collection.
- Control settlements with customer proceeds and vendor payments.
- Preparation of management reports.
- Liaison with Senior Management across the organisation.
- Contributing to financial and tax audits.
- Preparing data for the company's monthly financial statements and participate in the monthly and annual closing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required.
- Understanding and experience of Treasury Accounting including foreign exchange, liquidity, cashflow and various financial instruments.
- Strong knowledge of banking.
- Good understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt.
- Appropriate handling of payment information.
- Must be extremely detail oriented and able to perform job functions with high accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to analyse processes and suggest and implement continuous improvements.
- Good understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt.
- Demonstrated problem solving and investigative skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
