We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Process & Parametrization Expert with deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO) and a strong background in supply chain processes. This role will focus on system parametrization, process optimization, and ensuring alignment between business requirements and ERP functionality. The expert will configure, validate, and optimize supply chain modules to support efficient operations, integration, and scalability.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the parametrization and configuration of supply chain modules in D365 FO (Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Sales & Marketing, Master Planning, and Product Information Management).
- Translate business requirements into functional system setups aligned with supply chain best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across procurement, logistics, warehousing, and sales to design and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes
- Conduct workshops, gather requirements, and validate functional specifications.
- Ensure supply chain setups support traceability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with technical consultants, developers, and integration teams to support enhancements and resolve issues.
- Provide guidance and training to key users on supply chain functionalities and processes.
- Support testing activities (unit testing, UAT, regression testing) to validate setups and ensure high-quality system delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert for supply chain process improvements, automation, and ERP-driven efficiencies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5-8+ years) working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or AX 2012) in a supply chain-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes (procurement, inventory, warehousing, sales order management, master planning, logistics).
- Hands-on expertise in system parametrization and configuration of D365 FO supply chain modules.
- Solid understanding of supply chain compliance, trade regulations, and operational best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, bridging between business teams and ERP/IT teams.
- Relevant qualifications in supply chain, logistics, or industrial engineering are a strong plus.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in ERP implementation or rollout projects.
- Familiarity with advanced warehouse management and transportation management within D365 FO.
- Knowledge of Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate) for reporting and process automation.
- Cross-functional knowledge of finance modules for end-to-end process integration.
