Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain all network devices including Firewall, Routers, Switches and wireless access points
- Manage VPN and S2S VPN connectivity for users and remote office connectivity
- Manage the accessibility, performance, security and reliability of internet and remote connections
- Perform upgrades, troubleshoots and fixes of network hardware and software issues
- Install equipment on-site, testing systems for functionality with all necessary software applications
- Be involved in migrations or new device implementations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Telecommunications or an equivalent field
Professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of IT network experience
Special knowledge and skills
- Excellent knowledge of networking, routing, switching, TCP/IP
- Good knowledge of next-generation firewalls
- Knowledge of network security protocols, SSL, IDS, IPS
- Knowledge of Fortinet products
- Experience in Azure/AWS Networking will be considered an advantage
- Good command of the English language - written and spoken
