Role purpose
The Master Data Administrator is responsible for creating, maintaining, validating, and updating master data in the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and compliance. The role supports Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and other business functions by ensuring that master data is maintained according to defined standards and business processes.
Key responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update master data in the ERP system in accordance with established standards and procedures, including item master data, BOMs, recipes, and routes.
- Ensure the accuracy of batch and lot tracking information and regulatory attributes.
- Maintain high data quality to support Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance processes.
- Support and maintain data validation rules, workflows, and data quality KPIs.
- Support internal and external audits by providing master data records and traceability information.
- Support continuous improvement and simplification of master data processes.
- Validate master data requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before implementation.
- Support Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance teams with master data related requests and issues.
Required experience and skills
- 2+ years of experience with ERP master data, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in master data governance and data quality management.
- Understanding of regulatory and quality data requirements in pharma or life sciences is a strong advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and a process-driven mindset.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is a strong advantage.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent English.
