Duties and responsibilities:
- Monitors compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to the activities of Huvepharma EOOD and its affiliated companies, as well as compliance with their internal rules.
- Supports the Head of Legal in the administration of all corporate matters and activities and monitors the lawful and correct execution of the assigned joint tasks with the other legal advisors and attorneys-at-law engaged in servicing the activities of Huvepharma EOOD and its affiliated companies.
- Advises other structural units of Huvepharma EOOD and its affiliate companies on current matters.
- Prepares templates of legal documents to be presented to counterparties and clients of Huvepharma EOOD and its affiliate companies (contracts, additional agreements, notarial deeds, etc).
- Conducts legal research and analyses and prepares written legal opinions on various cases and specific matters; prepares or reviews and coordinates draft contracts, agreements, powers of attorney, statements (of claim and appeal), complaints, responses, applications, declarations, and other legal documents and instruments.
- Monitors legislative changes and practices in matters related to the activities and functioning of Huvepharma EOOD and affiliated companies.
- Supports the activities of Huvepharma EOOD and its affiliated companies through participation in internal specialized bodies (working groups, committees, etc.) formed according to the current internal rules or ad hoc.
- Prepares, independently or in a team with other lawyers, legal documents on legal matters related to the activities of Huvepharma EOOD and its affiliated companies.
- Participates in the drafting of internal documents such as policies, rules, procedures, instructions etc., as well as in their periodic updates.
- Assists the relevant responsible units of Huvepharma EOOD and its affiliated companies in connection with obtaining financing from local and/or foreign banks or financial institutions, with participation in public procurements, concession, tender and/or other procedures, with mergers and acquisitions.
- Provides general legal services and participates in conference calls, online or face-to-face meetings and conducts correspondence in Bulgarian and English language.
- Performs all other tasks assigned by the Head of the legal department within his/her competences, and depending on the specific need, he/she can be appointed to participate in different teams and working groups with different legal focus.
Job requirements:
Education: Master's degree in law and acquired legal capacity.
Professional experience: minimum 3 (three) years of post-qualification experience. Previous experience in a banking or financial institution, law firm or international company/organization will be considered an advantage.
Special knowledge and skills:
- Computer literacy - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
