Responsibilities
- Overseeing accurate monthly reporting and lead monthly business reviews with the finance teams of the Group subsidiaries
- Analyze monthly, quartery and annual management and IFRS reports from Group subsidiaries
- Monthly review and confirmation of the Group reporting and consolidation tool IBM Cognos Controller with the purpose of ensuring correctness of Management and IFRS Group reporting
- Understand results and trends within the business, providing analysis that allows budget holders to deliver on their operational responsibilities and drive performance
- Overseeing and assistance with the annual budgets of the Group and subsidiaries
- Overseeing of annual financial audits of the subsidiaries
- Preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements and communication with Group auditors
- Responsible for managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Evaluate, control, design and implement effectiveness
- Develop test plans and control the operating effectiveness as necessary
Person specifications
The candidate must be able to demonstrate the key competencies detailed below to the right standard to be considered for this role:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role and have a proven track record
- Strong analytical and investigative skills, including logical reasoning and problem solving, and be able to work both individually and collaboratively
- Solid budgeting and forecasting experience and be committed to improving budget and forecast processes
- Adaptable, with the ability to embrace and respond positively to change
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Accounting and Finance
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in a multinational environment
- IFRS qualification and certification
- MS Office, Consolidation and reporting and ERP experience, preferably IBM Cognos Controller, Microsoft Dynamics Axapta and Excel
- Fluent English
- Excellent analytical, management and organizational skills
- High level ability to accurately and quickly solve complex tasks
- Ability to work independently on the assigned tasks and take responsiblity for the work proceeded
