The Administrator Integrations/ETL is responsible for the reliable and secure operation, monitoring and optimization of integrations between the business systems and ETL processes between ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365), CRM, reporting platforms (Power BI, QlikView, Cognos), and data warehouse systems (IBM Netezza). This role ensures data flows consistently and accurately between systems, supporting both operational business processes and strategic reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor integrations between Dynamics AX/D365, CRM, reporting systems, and other enterprise applications.
- Manage and optimize data exchange processes using ETL tools, middleware platforms, APIs and integration frameworks.
- Handle error tracking, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to data flows and integrations.
- Develop, schedule, and maintain ETL jobs for data extraction, transformation, and loading, especially between ERP/CRM systems and data warehouses (IBM Netezza).
- Ensure ETL processes are reliable, performant, and meet business SLAs.
- Manage data synchronization routines to support reporting (QlikView, Power BI, Cognos).
- Implement automated monitoring and alerting for integration failures, delays, or data discrepancies.
- Continuously review and optimize integration processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Work closely with ERP/CRM teams, reporting/BI teams, database administrators, and external vendors.
- Supporting project teams in integration-related tasks for system upgrades, migrations, and new feature deployments.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of integration workflows, data mappings, and dependencies.
- Ensure integration processes meet security, privacy, and compliance standards.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Experience with ETL tools, integration platforms (Azure Integration Services preferred), and middleware solutions.
- Knowledge of APIs, web services (REST, SOAP), and data exchange formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (especially IBM Netezza).
- Experience with reporting system integration (QlikView, Power BI, Cognos).
- Familiarity with data structures and integration points in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 is highly desirable.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently.
- 3+ years of experience in ETL, system integrations, or data platform administration.
- Experience in enterprise-scale environments with multiple integrated systems.
