International Sales Expert

Currently Huvepharma is hiring an International Sales Expert for its portfolio of human pharmaceutical ingredients produced in Bulgaria and Italy with a customer base worldwide.

Position summary

The International Sales Expert will be responsible for execution of sales and achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and driving revenue growth, as well as implementing sales strategies, monitoring market trends, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction. 

The position will be based in Sofia, Bulgaria with international sales responsibilities. The International Sales Expert will also work closely with cross-functional teams such as production, customer service, regulatory, and supply chain to ensure smooth business operations and timely product registrations, product availability and smooth order processing.

The International Sales Expert will report to the Sales Director Human API.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Carry out sales of the portfolio according to the budget plan and sales targets.
• Prepare the annual budget of the human health portfolio under his/her responsibility and monthly reports of sales to management.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales and pricing targets and business objectives with customers.
• Follow-up of customer orders and ensure their smooth processing and execution. 
• Respond to customer questions and issues, and seek timely solutions closely with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and identify new customers.
• Conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and provide input to marketing and product development teams for the development of marketing campaigns and promotional activities if needed.
• Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events to promote company products and services, and enhance the company's brand image.

Skills and requirements

• Pharmaceutical industry background with proven experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Experience in key account management.
• Speciality in pharmacy, biology or chemistry.
• Strong strategic and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to solve problems independently.
• Result orientated, hardworking, with excellent communication and presentation skills. 
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle challenging assignments.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biology or a related field.
• Additional qualifications and experience in business and international trade are strong contributions to the required profile.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers.
• Ability to analyse scientific, product and sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Self-motivated.
• A strong team player.
• Able to work under pressure with good coordination skills.
