Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with a bacteriostatic effect (inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial proteins) against Gram-positive and some Gram-negative microorganisms: Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Diplococcus spp., Borrellia (Spirochaeta spp.), Campylobacter (Vibrio) spp., Leptospira spp., Rickettsia spp., Chlamydia spp., and some anaerobic microorganisms (Fusobacterium spp., Bacteroides spp. etc.). It induces an anticoccidial effect (against Eimeria tenella).
Bromhexine is a mucolytic; it liquefies the bronchial secretion and promotes its ejection from the respiratory tract (by decreasing its viscosity). Thus bromhexine alleviates the expectoration of the sputum and facilitates respiration. It stimulates the production of gamma globulin in the bronchial mucosa and helps tylosin to be cumulated in higher concentration in the respiratory organ thus hastening the recovery process. Bromhexine influences the absorption rate of tylosin, helps attaining higher blood levels maintaining the bioavailability of the antibiotic. Tylosin passes into the eggs of laying hens . It is compatible with tetracycline, sulphonamides, erythromycin and spectinomycin.
For treatment of respiratory mycoplasmosis, chronic respiratory disease, borreliosis (spirochetosis) in chickens; infectious synovitis and sinusitis in turkeys.
No contraindications for the medicinal product are established.
Orally, with the drinking water (as a drinking solution only).
The prescribed dose is preliminarily dissolved in a small quantity of water by adding the water to the preparation (not vice versa). Then the mixture is diluted with water until the desired concentration is reached.
Poultry.

For treatment - 1.5 g per 1 l of drinking water in the course of 5-7 days (until the lethality rate drops to the usual level for the respective age group).
