Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with a bactericidal effect mainly against Gram-negative and some Gram-positive microorganisms (Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Klebsiella spp., Shigella spp., a number of Proteus and Pseudomonas strains, Staphylococci, beta-hemolytic Streptococci, Corynebacteria, Mycoplasma, etc.). It is quickly absorbed from the injection site and is retained in the blood and tissues for 12 – 24 h. It is eliminated unchanged with urine, where its concentrations significantly exceed those in blood.
For treatment of respiratory, gastrointestinal and urogenital infections (bronchitis, pneumonia, pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis, endometritis, metritis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, infected wounds, pyodermia sepsis, etc.), caused by gentamicin-sensitive microorganisms.
Severe renal disorders accompanied by azotemia.
Do not apply simultaneously with general anesthetics, muscle relaxants, other aminoglycosides, polymyxins.
Intramuscularly, subcutaneously, orally and intrauterinally.
Ruminants, horses, pigs, dogs, cats.

On the first day, the dose must be injected twice at a 12-hour interval. Subsequently, Gentamicin 10% is administered once per day for not more than 7 consecutive days.
Subcutaneously
In chickens (for control of colibacillosis and paratyphus) the preparation is diluted with sterile distilled water (1:100) and is injected at a dose rate of 0.2 ml/ l -day-old chickens.
Orally, with the drinking water
In chickens of older age - 1.0 ml/l drinking water in the course of 4-5 days.
Intrauterinally
In cows (for treatment of endometritis) - 2.0 ml of the preparation diluted with 20-50 ml isotonic solution of sodium chloride.
In mares - 5.0 ml of the preparation diluted with 200 ml isotonic solution of sodium chloride. In case of pyometra the exudate must be preliminarily removed.
In cases of continuous administration in higher doses the preparation may cause heavy nephritis and damages of the vestibular and hearing organs, especially in cats. If ataxia and vomiting occur, the treatment must be terminated.
For meat (excluding kidneys and injection site) - 7 days after the last administration of the preparation. For kidneys and injection site - 45 days after the last administration of the preparation. For milk - 2 days after the last administration of the preparation.
Two (2) years from the date of manufacture.
In the original packing, well closed, in dry and well-ventilated facilities, protected from direct sunlight at temperature between 8° and 15°C.
